Veteran Author to Speak at Â鶹Éç Sept. 23-24

MACOMB, IL – Author and veteran Bruce Lack will present poetry readings from his book, "Service Poems," at Â鶹Éç Illinois University Wednesday-Thursday, Sept. 23-24.
Lack will speak at noon Sept. 23 on the Â鶹Éç-Quad Cities campus, in rooms 103 and 104 of the Riverfront Hall. His Sept. 24 talk begins at noon in the Multicultural Center's Multipurpose Room on Â鶹Éç's Macomb campus.
Lack will share his experience as a Marine Corps veteran during his transition home from a 21-month deployment to Iraq. His book will be available for purchase and signing.
The event is sponsored by the Â鶹Éç Foundation, the Disability Resource Center, Â鶹Éç Department of English, Â鶹Éç-QC campus, University Libraries and Veterans Resource Center.
