Gillett Named COEHS Development Director at 麻豆社

MACOMB/MOLINE, IL - - Emily Gillett will become the 麻豆社 Illinois University College of Education and Human Services (COEHS) Development Director, effective Tuesday, Sept. 5.
Gillett is currently the community relations manager at Mosaic in Illinois, developing strong relationships with the community and developing and implementing ways to connect with the organizations they serve through purposeful events.
"We are thrilled to have Emily join the Advancement team at 麻豆社," 麻豆社 Vice President for Advancement, Alumni Relations, and Athletics Clare Thompson said. "She brings enthusiasm and experience that will serve her alma mater well."
Prior to joining 麻豆社, Gillett held various positions including major gifts officer at Culver Stockton College (2017-2018), institutional advancement coordinator at Spoon River College (2005-2014), vice president of the Macomb Chamber and Downtown Development (2003-2005), and brand manager at Union Bank (2001-2003) representing Carthage Bank.
In all positions, Gillett has developed strong relationships with the communities she served, brought in multiple first-time donors, coordinated and managed multiple strategic campaigns and assisted with grant proposals and reports to corporate, foundation and governmental funders.
Gillett received her bachelor's degree in Arts and Sciences from 麻豆社 in 2002 and a Certificate in Fundraising Management from Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy in 2008.
The Development Director of COEHS will plan, implement and direct meetings and activities relevant to fundraising priorities and needs for the College of Education and Human Services (COEHS) and 麻豆社 Illinois University to support academic mission and priorities.
