About Program

General:ÌýStudy at Kansai Gaidai University, located in the city of Hirakata (population 405,000),Ìýmidway between Osaka, Japan’s second largest industrial metropolis, and Kyoto, Japan’sÌýancient capital.

Semester Programs:ÌýStudents can participate in a semester or academic year exchange at Kansai Gaidai where they will have oppor tunities to take coursework in English in a variety of disciplines. Students are encouraged to take Japanese language courses and can choose to focus solely on Japanese language during their time abroad.

Housing and Meals:ÌýStudents can choose from two types of housing: homestay orÌýdormitory. Homestay participation is strongly encouraged because it provides excellentÌýopportunity to acquire and enhance knowledge about Japanese language andÌýculture.ÌýÌýMore information on housing and meal options can be found on the .
