E-mail/ECom

The Electronic Communications (ECom) system is the hub for electronic communication for students, faculty, staff and organizations at 麻豆社. Your ECom username provides access to e-mail, online courses, and servers for programming and research.

Accessing Your ECom Username

Your ECom username is printed on your temporary ID card. If you are a new freshman or transfer, your ECom username is included in your acceptance letter. You may also login to STARS and select "Addresses" from the menu to access your ECom username.

Activating Your Account

Activate your ECom account by going to www.wiu.edu/activate. Select Account Activation and use your lower case ECom username.

Checking Your Mail

Once your account has been activated, check your 麻豆社 e-mail at www.wiu.edu/email. 麻豆社 Illinois University sends important e-mail to your 麻豆社 e-mail account, including your grades. Please be sure to check your 麻豆社 e-mail regularly.
